"Good item, box was a bit rough"
The item itself was totally fine and works as expected, so that’s great. i was happy with it. The packaging was slightly dented though, which was a little annoying, but not a huge deal. Overall, it’s fine, maybe even better than I expected, aside from the box looking a bit beat up.

"Easy return, no hassle"
I had to send back a pair of headphones I ordered online because they just didn’t suit me. I usually expect returns to follow the same annoying pattern: confusing instructions, waiting around, then chasing someone for the refund. This was the opposite. The returns page was clear, I had the label sorted in a few minutes, and I dropped the parcel off at Waitrose. The refund came through quicker than I’d mentally prepared for, with no awkward emails or follow-ups needed. Based on that, I’d definitely order from them again.

"Wish I'd gone with John Lewis sooner"
I picked up a few bits for the house from John Lewis and, i kind of regret not doing it earlier. It wasn’t the absolute cheapest option, but the quality feels much better than some of the cheaper stuff I’ve bought before. In the end, it feels like money well spent.

"Really easy replacement process"

It was quick and simple, which is really all you want sometimes. No extra hassle, no confusing steps, just straightforward and easy to use. Common sense says a process like this shouldn’t be complicated, and this one wasn’t.

"Quick replacement, surprisingly easy"
I’m not sure why I expected it to be a hassle, maybe I’ve just dealt with too many annoying returns before, but they sent the replacement really fast and there was no fuss at all.

I had a small issue with my delivery, so I messaged customer service not expecting much. To their credit, they got back to me quickly and just sorted it out without any fuss or excuses. It felt like they actually cared about doing the right thing for the customer, which I really appreciated. Polite, fair, and easy to deal with, I’d definitely use John Lewis again.

"Just as expected"
I ordered this from John Lewis and it turned up pretty much exactly as shown on the website. The size, colour and features were all accurate, which was a relief because I’m always a bit wary that photos online can look different in real life. Delivery was straightforward too. Overall, I’m happy with it and I’d probably order from them again.

"Showed Up Late, But Installed Fine"
The installer turned up late, which was a bit annoying, but like I said, the actual installation went fine. Once they got there, everything was sorted without any real issues. Like I said, just wish they’d been on time

I had an issue with a kettle I’d bought from John Lewis after only a few months, so I emailed their customer service team. They replied the next day, which was a nice surprise, and they sorted out a replacement without making it all feel like a big hassle. The person I dealt with was really helpful and talked me through what I needed to do. Only reason I’d knock it down to 4 stars is that the collection took a bit longer than I thought it would, but yeah, overall decent after-sales support.

"Reliable delivery and worth the price"
I ordered a kettle from John Lewis and it turned up exactly on the day they said it would. The driver was friendly as well, which is always nice. I do try to watch what I spend, so I was pleased there was no hassle or extra messing around. Overall, a smooth experience and I’d happily use them again if the price is right.

They did get it sorted without too much hassle, which I appreciated. That said, the whole thing left me a bit less confident than before, and I’m not sure I’d trust the process to go smoothly next time

"Looks nice, but feels a bit average"
It looks really nice and works fine, so I cannot say I am unhappy with it. I just expected it to feel a little more solid for the price. The quality feels a bit average overall, but it still does the job.
